What could be better than exploring new boundaries while learning how you could do it own you own next time. Having taught sailing in both a classroom setting and an on-the-water hands-on setting, we know that some portion of both have their place. We can take a newcomer or a novice and do both the classroom and the hands-on while gently gliding across the water. There are many technical aspects to sailing, but the critical few can be introduced while holding the wheel and pulling the lines. After only a couple of hours, you'll be hooked on sailing and ready to learn more.
For some, the most they want is an introduction to sailing and a fun day on the water. Weather you have your hands on the wheel or on suntan lotion, your agenda on the water is designed by you. While we have no control over the weather, there are many ways we can help your agenda become real.
For others, a learn to sail day is the beginning of unlocking their dream of becoming competent sailors and qualifying for a bareboat cruise in the Caribbean. This we understand well as it was our dream over 30 years ago. Having sailed in the Caribbean for the past 21 years and delivered our own vessel from St. Augustine to St. Thomas, we understand the lure of the crystal blue waters as well as the care that must be taken while there. We can help you make this dream come true teaching you what you need to know and getting you much of the hands on experience you'll need to qualify for a bareboat charter.
